On 25 April 2019, the workshop “Social Sciences and Humanities in the 21st Century: Problems, Expectations, Suggestions" was held with the participation of many academicians from different fields and experts from the field.

The workshop, held on the 5th floor of the Sümerbank Building of our University and continued with 4 sessions following the opening speeches of our Rector Prof. Mehmet Barca. The full-time program included round table discussions on "Knowledge Production in Social Sciences and Humanities (research)", "Dissemination of Information (education)", "transformation of knowledge into benefit (social and interventional contribution)", followed by a discussion on "projections for the future of Social Sciences and Humanities" in which ideas and suggestions were exchanged. After the workshop program, a workshop reception was held in the Güvercinlik Hall of the University Rectorate building.
