“ICOAEF’18 IV. International Conference on Applied Economics and Finance & Extended With Social Sciences” organized jointly by ASBU and Bandırma Onyedi Eylul University, was successfully held on November 28-29-30, 2018 in Kuşadası, Aydın.

The event, financially sponsored by Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, was supported by Bandırma Municipality as well.

The opening speeches at “ICOAEF’18 Conference” were given respectively by Prof. Dr. Burak Darıcı, the head of the organising committee and faculty member of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University,  Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Alparslan Serel, vice rector of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Barca, the rector of ASBU.

Following the opening speeches, in the opening session moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derviş Kırıkkaleli of Cyprus Lefke University, Dr. Stefano Siviero of Bank of Italy presented his talk on “European Union and Monetary Policy” and Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Koç of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University presented his speech titled “Tips for Publishing Articles in Indexed Journals”.

In the ICOAEF'18 Conference participants from different countries such as England, Poland, India, Pakistan, Morocco, Algeria, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, TRNC, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand, Yemen, France, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan also took part. At the conference, in addition to 270 papers, 76 remote presentations were given for two days. A total of 105 foreign papers from 45 foreign universities were presented. All the presentations in the two conference halls were broadcast live on the conference's YouTube channel.
