The "Academy, Cooperation and Advertising Protocol" was signed between the Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU) and the Turkish Maarif Foundation for cooperation in education, research, academic works, reports and cultural affairs.

The protocol was signed on behalf of the University by the Rector Prof.Dr. Mehmet Barca and on behalf of the Turkish Maarif Foundation  by Prof. Dr. Birol Akgun.

Under the signed protocol, it was decided to cooperate on all issues concerning types of education, research activities, academic studies, exchange of informational documents, provision of teaching materials, joint programs with universities abroad, etc.
