On December 23, 2021, with the organization of ASBU Faculty of Foreign Languages Department of Japanese Translation and Interpretation an event titled "Japanese Folk Songs of Okinawa, Japan's Happy Island" was held by IwasaTakaaki.

In the event, Takaaki played sanshin and sang Okinawa songs. He also informed audiences about Okinawa and Japanese. After the event, Dean of ASBU Faculty of Foreign Lnaguages Prof. Dr. İsmail Çakır presented a plaque of appreciation to  Iwasa Takaaki.
