"International Conferance on 100 Years of Diplomatic Ties Between Ukraine and Turkey" was organized by Center for Strategic Research under the Turkish Foreign Ministry and Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara and held in our university.

At the conference, ASBU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet BARCA, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Research Dr. Ufuk ULUTAŞ, Natalia LOPATİNA from Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara, the Chief of the Head Department for Foreign Policy and European Integration of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine İgor JOVKVA, the Deputy Foreign Minister Yavuz Selim KIRAN were made their speeches.

After their opening speeches, panel about Turkey-Ukraine relations “Historic Background of Bilateral Relations” was held. In the panel Prof. Dr. Filiz Tutku Aydın BEZİKOĞLU (ASBU), Prof. Dr. Oktay F. TANRISEVER (METU), Prof. Dr. Oleksandr HALENKO gave speeches under the moderation of Dr. Mehmet Zeki GÜNAY from Center for Strategic Research. In the other panel, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Sergiy KORSUNSKİY, Prof. Dr. Mesut ÖZCAN, Alexander HARA and Ahmet Yağmur GÜLDERE gave speeches under the moderation of Yevganiya GABER from Embassy of Ukraine in Ankara.
