Prof.Dr. Prof. Dr. Julie Aydınlı , who served as the Dean of Faculty of Foreign Languages for a year, handed this position over to Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş ,who is the new faculty member of English Language and Literature Department.

At the handover ceremony, ASBU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Barca said “ I would like to thank Prof.Dr. Prof. Dr. Julie Aydınlı for her services and efforts during her time at the office. “ He also stated that they worked with Prof. Dr. Julie Aydınlı for more than a year during the difficult foundation period of Turkey’s first and only Faculty of Foreign Languages and the devoted efforts and contributions of Dear Aydınlı in in the Faculty of Foreign Languages, which is one of the most open faculties of our university were appreciated.

Our Rector wished success to Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş in his new position as the Dean of  Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Prof. Dr. Julie Aydınlı thanked our Rector for his kind thoughts and appreciation. She wished success to Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş in his new position as the Dean of  Faculty of Foreign Languages by stating that she will be working under the same roof and she is ready to give all kinds of support and help.

The new Dean Of Faculty of Foreign Languages, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş emphasizing the fact that he was aware of their Faculty’s importance in the community and the responsibility he took over, stated that he took over a well established faculty thanks to the efforts of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Barca, Prof. Dr. Julie Aydınlı and her team and that the quality academic staff played an active role in achieving that. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ali Güneş said “ I learned there are very successful students studying in our department. They are very lucky. In the new academic year, we would like to give a start to a new era with this quality staff, background and endless opportunities along with successful students to prefer us for their studies. We would like to see the students who succeeded in the University Entrance Exam to be announced soon and enable them to enjoy the favourable opportunities in our department to the fullest.
