The English Language and Literature Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages (ASBU-IDE) visited the ruins in Çanakkale and the Troy Museum, as well as the Archaeological Museum in Istanbul, in 2018 the Year of Troy, the 20th Anniversary of Troy's inclusion on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.

As part of the seminaras ELIT241 classical literature and ELIT 285 Mythology ,of the English Literature Program in the third semester of the academic year 2018-2019, the department conducted on site-education in the historical places where the treated works Iliad and Odyssey by Homer take place and observed their modern explanation.
