On 17 May 2019, ASBU Coordination Office for Disabled Students Unit organized an event within the scope of Disability Awareness Week.

The event started with the opening speeches of our Rector Prof. Mehmet Barca and continued with the speech "Thinking Disability within the Context of Sociology and Literature" by Mertcan Furat, student of English Language and Literature Department. The speech showed how the behavior towards disabled people has to be.

The program ended with an interview by Buğra Özcan, student of International Relations Department, with the Res.Asst. Esma Kıraç.
