(A member of ASBU Faculty of Political Sciences Department of Economics, Prof. Kaoru Yamaguchi, holds his Ph.D. in Economics from the Univ. of California, Berkeley, 1985. So far, he has taught at the California State University, Hayward, University of San Francisco, University of Hawaii at Manor, Osaka Sangyo University and Doshisha University (Japan). His academic works have been focused on the System Dynamics Modelings of Macroeconomics and Sustainability. He has been a member of the System Dynamics Society since 1996, and once served as the Chair in Economics Chapter of the Society. On Sept. 30, 2010, he received the Advancement of Monetary Science and Reform Award for his advanced work in modelling the effects on national debts of the American Monetary Act from the American Monetary Institute. He has been an academic staff of ASBU since April 2018.)
