Prof. Dr. K. Ali Akkemik is a faculty member at the Department of Economics in Yamaguchi University, Japan. He graduated from Economics department of Middle East Technical University in 1999 and got his M.Sc. from Chiba University in 2003 and earned his Ph.D. from Nagoya University in 2006 on the field of international development. He has many articles and book chapters on specifically Japanese economy and in general on Asian economies.
