Prof. Tanel Demirel completed his undergraduate studies at the Ankara University Faculty of Law and received his master's degree from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and PhD degree from Bilkent University, Political Science department. He has been teaching at Çankaya University since 2001. After his recent book “Understanding Turkish Politics” that Demirel discusses the analysis of political analysis, he comes to our university to discuss the various approaches examining Turkish political life and the contributions of each approach.
