Dr. Valerio Colosio, Research Associate at the University of Sussex,  received his PhD in Social Anthropology in 2018. As part of his doctoral work, he explored the legacies of slavery in the Guéra region, in central Chad. Colosio's research is based on a nine-month fieldwork and focuses on a locally discriminated group.
