Specifically focusing on Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Scientific Philosophy, Information Philosophy and Probability Philosophy, Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Hilmi Demir got his doctorate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, on philosophy and cognitive sciences. His interdisciplinary studies were published in Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Mind, Logique et Analyse, Journal of Logic Language and Information, Beytülhikme and Kilikya Felsefe Dergisi. Along with his academic studies, Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Hilmi Demir also voluntarily parts in projects that support the disadvantaged people in our country and works in Department of Philosophy, METU. Previously, he worked in Department of Phlosophy in California State University (San Bernardino) and Bilkent University. Before he started his academic life, he worked as a researcher in market research sector and he developed research models on brand loyalty and measuring consumer satisfaction.
