Graduating from Middle East Technical University, Dr. Furkan Uysal got his master degree with his thesis entitled “Geographic information system–based visualization system for planning and monitoring of repetitive construction projects” and his PhD with his thesis entitled “Hybrid Meta-heuristic Algorithms for the Resource Constrained Multi-project Scheduling Problem” from METU as well. He participated in many projects on project management, resource planning and scheduling in Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and Research & Development and Entrepreneurship Department at Ministry of Development while he was studying for his master and PhD. In 2018, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at East Carolina University in the US.
