(Nurten Öztürk is the founding member of the OPET board. She attended the Capa Higher Teacher Academy and studied Zoology and Botany at the Faculty of Natural Sciences. In 1971, she worked as a biology teacher at the Akşehir School of Teacher Education and remained a teacher until 1984. In 1992 she came to Istanbul with her husband and founded the first national fuel company OPET Petrolcülük A.Ş. Since the founding of the company, Nurten Öztürk has been active in every department as well as the creator and director of Clean Toilet, Green Road, Model Village, Respect to History and Traffic Detectives projects. With the project "Clean Toilet" she received the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Prize for Social Responsibility and in 2001 the prize for the Woman of the Year in the event of the Dünya Newspaper. The "Green Road" project received the "Golden Compass" award from the Turkish Public Relations Association (TUHID) in 2004.)
