“Nation's Voice: Mehmet Akif Ersoy Panel” was held by ASBU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences due to March 12, Acceptance of the Turkish National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial Day.

The programme started with a moment of scilence and Turkish National Anthem and continued with the opening speech of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Barca.

“Nation's Voice: Mehmet Akif Ersoy Panel” was held under the chairmanship of the head of Turkish Language and Literature Department Prof. Dr Abdulhakim Koçin.

In the panel, the following speeches were given; “Milli Mücadelede Mehmet Akif”, “Mehmet Akif Ersoy’un Şahsi ve Edebi Kişiliği”, “İstiklal Marşının Yazılması ve Milli Marş Olarak Kabul Edilmesi”.
