Dear Academicians,

Because of World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 coronavirus as a pandemic, in line with the instructions of the Council of Higher Education on education and training, all undergraduate and graduate programs and foreign language preparatory programs in ASBU are decided to carry out via distance education. By the ASBU Senate’s decision dated 23.03.2020 and numbered 2020/21 and as of 23/03/2020, distance education was initiated in all programs. Therefore, face-to-face training will not be held in the 2019/2020 academic year spring semester.

Spring semester education period will be end on 22.05.2020 in all undergraduate and graduate programs. According to ASBU Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education Regulation, until May 22, 2020, our academic staff who have course load, must make at least one midterm and declare it on Student Information System, share it with their students via system and enter the evaluation grades in accordance with the academic calendar.(for postgraduate programs midterm entrance deadline is 13/06/2020). While defining and evaluating the midterm exam, you can use homework, practice, project, distance learning materials and similar studies and complete your mid-term evaluations according to our regulations and related senate decision. Final exams will start on June 2, 2020 and new announcements about education period will be made to you related to the pandemic developments.

Dear Students,

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2019-2020 spring semester will be completed by distance learning method and face-to-face training will not be made. The 2019-2020 spring semester will end within the current academic calendar of our university. You can learn your midterm exam dates from the Student Information System, your relevant academic unit or the faculty member of the course. Announcements about final exams will be made later.
