We are continuing education on online platforms because of Coronavirus. We will be continuing distance education activities via Google Classroom.
You can reach Google Classroom by the web page https://classroom.google.com. You can also download the app for Android and IPhone smartphones by downloading it to your phone. When you open Google Classroom, you will see the Google "sign in" screen. You can login the web page with using your ASBU corporate e-mail address.
Dear Students;
Your corporate e-mail address is name.surname@asbu.edu.tr. Your password is your e-mail password. For detailed information about your password click here.
After logging into Google Classroom, select "I am a student" option. By clicking the "+" icon in the upper left corner, you can join the classes with class codes or invitation links shared by your instructors.

1- After logging into Google Classroom select "I am a teacher" option. We wait for you to create your own classes (Create a class for each lesson. For example, "BUS101 Introduction to Business") and start sharing contents via Google Classroom.
2- You can add your students to the class with the e-mail address "student.asbu.edu.tr" which you can reach through the Student Information System (OBS) or by typing the name and surname and add them to the class. Or, you can share the class code created for the course over OBS and enable students to enrol in the class. Please follow if each student is registered to the class.
3- After creating the classes, you can create your topics by clicking the "Create" button under the "Class Studies" menu. Again, you can add material to the topics you create wth the "Create" button. While creating the material, you can add your weekly course content (Video, PDF, Presentation) with the "Add" button.
4- You can use prepared studios in the classes 108 and 109 in Sümerbank Building to prepare your videos for distance education. Shooting is maximum 15 minutes for a 2-hour lesson and 20 minutes for a 3-hour lesson. You can also shoot at home with your own materials.
5- Our academics who want to make live lessons can use alternative options such as Skype, Zoom, Google Hangout, Whatsapp.

About Passwords
If you have never logged into your corporate e-mail account or if you do not know your password, please follow the steps below.
1- Click the "Reset" link on the ASBUNET Password page to fill in the form opened. Then, in the "your username" part of the form, enter your name and surname for academicians and your student number for the students. Click the "reset my password" button and then the password given by the system will be send to your mobile phone number which registered in the system.
2- You can use your ASBU Corporate account with the password which have sent to your mobile phone.
3- If you want, you can change your password with a new password by clicking the "Update" link on the ASBUNET Password page. You must create your new password in accordance with our password policy*.
Please Note: If you got "message has been sent" notice during the reset process but message has not been transmitted to your mobile phone or you got the error "Your registered number was not found in the system";
After entering Student Infomation System (OBS) and updating your phone number in your profile information, academicians should send an e-mail to bid@asbu.edu.tr with their name, surname and department information and students should send an e-mail to bid@asbu.edu.tr with their student number, name, surname and department information. Your phone number will be updated by IT Department in a short time. Then, please repeat these steps in a short time after.
*ASBU Password Policy
-You cannot use your last 3 passwords.
-Your password must be at least 7 characters.
-Your password must contain at least one number, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one special character (.!@#$%^&*)
-Your password should not contain your name and surname.
